THIS WAS GREAT!

SAT TOMORROW

thank you for uploading this video because it has helped me immensely but at 1:13:22 , why did you put -5+4=0 in substitution for x+y=0 when the value of x=5 and y=-4 . when I solved it, it was be 1=0 which is not a solution. can someone check it please if I’m not mistaken. Again thank you so much!!

I think you made a mistake at 1:51:38 ish. The 5x^2 + x^2 part is correct, but it says the square of the number is 8, not the equation equals 8.

This means x = 8^2

So if x = 64 then you must plug it back into 5x + x^2 meaning the real answer would be 4416

This may be a wording issue and i may be wrong so please correct me if i am

my sat is tomorrow morning and I just started studying aka watching this video ahahha anyone else

I’m watching this 40 min before the sat. I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it

Thank you for doing this.

Could someone please explain this problem:

R^2-2RS+S^2+49

I don’t understand how it turns into this:

R^2-2RS+s^2=(R-S)^2

Are these relevant for the new SAT?

At 1:19:23 we should be plugging in 4 right? for proving the equation false (we are plugging 2 in the video)

Wouldn’t the equation at 35:10 be 32, because the exponents go before parenthesis. You would multiply the 3 by 3 = 9, and then (9-7)^2 = 81-49 = 32.

1:13:13

If we have tho opposite numbers, like 1,-1 2,-2 and so on, we can see that, xy=1*(-1)=-1<0 x+y=-1+1=0, so why this (x + y= 0) statement false?

is that video valid for the new sat?

Thanks…this is great. I struggle with memorizing some of this although have advanced in my math. Any recommendations going forward on this. Tips for studying math??? Thanks.
